Ontario Health (ON)

For over a decade, I have worked with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians to conduct research studies. With a background in engineering, I collaborated with a University of Toronto clinician during my master’s degree on 3D kidney design, and later completed my PhD in partnership with an ophthalmology hospital and the University of British Columbia, focusing on scaffold design for corneal regeneration.

My role at Ontario Health, most recently as Interim Lead for primary care team expansion, deepened my understanding of how clinic-based services integrate within broader Primary Health Care models. I have supported initiatives such as the Expression of Interest and Primary Care Action Plan, led milestone reporting, reviewed implementation barriers, and worked with regional colleagues to identify lessons learned across expansion rounds. These experiences reinforce my commitment to interdisciplinary approaches that integrate clinical practice, policy, and research to advance population health and address social determinants of health.
